I checked the model file and was able to reproduce the issue. 

I will raise a bug for the issue with the developers and will update you once I get any more information on this.

I have an update on this bug from the development team:

The wrap extends beyond the boundary of the target and is doubly-curved. Doubly-curved objects can only be used as a target if the curvature is mild. With stronger curvature distortion is produced causing the source to "break". If this case is detected, the wrap will fail.
