Hello.
For a project I have to clean up a geometry to use it for a CFD analysis later using Fluent. There are some surfaces in the geometry that have some inconsistancies.
As you can see in the picture below, the purple surface is not smooth at all (it contains a few bumps) and there are some places where there is a really large gap where it should connect to the green surface.
As you can see, where the purple surface has to "connect" to the green surface, the purple surface is not smooth at all and there are some places where there is a really large gap between the purple and the green surfaces.Â
My biggest problems are with the gaps between the purple and the green surface. Basically what I want to achieve with the gaps, is to "pull down" the edges of the purple surface, so that it (approximately) meets at the green surface.
And also for the rest of the surface I want to smoothen it out so that it is one smooth surface in total, instead of it having all these bumps.
Does anybody have any tips for my on how to clean up this part of the geometry smoother?Â

Go back to the CAD system that made the surfaces and clean it up there.Â
