SubscriberHello , I am running a semi-elliptical crack problem using ANSYS SMART crack. I encountered a error problem with the Solver Output (as shown in the picture). Is there any problem in my mesh generation? In addition, the following Warning code is displayed in the Worksheet
(Warning:A fracture result is specified by time instead of by set. If the time lies between two result sets, no interpolation is performed. Instead, there are two possibilities: (1) if there are no mesh changes, the lower set applies ; (2) if there are mesh changes, the closest set applies.)

Ansys EmployeeHello,
You may want to try refining the base mesh around the location of the crack mesh so that the transition from the crack mesh to base mesh is a bit better; the base mesh looks somewhat coarse from the picture shown. You can use a local sizing option such as sphere of influence using the crack coordinate system as a point of reference.

Thank you for your help. After partial refinement, it can be remeshed.
