SubscriberTheme: Length of Extrude in ANSYS DesignModeler SketchingÂ
Hello,
I would like to ask you a question on how we can give dimension to the Extrude we select after Sketching in order to convert our 2D sketch model into 3D dimensional model in DesignModeler.
I have attached two images with the sketch (2nd) and the extruded model (1rst). I do not want the width of the model in the YZ (PLANE) direction to be that large. How can I edit/ change this, giving the Extrude the dimension I want? Do I do that from Sketching as well?
Thank you in advance.
Kind regards,
FX

Forum ModeratorExtrude should add an extra panel under the tree, it looks like you're missing something. Clicking on the "Details View" button bottom left may bring it back. If not, on the top menus Tools -> Windows -> Reset layout  to (hopefully) fix the interface.Â

SubscriberDear Rwoolhou and Kkanade,
Thank you both for your replies.
I figured it out eventually. I determined the dimensions from the Sketching dropdown menus. Thanks for your help.
Kind regards,
