Hello Sidhaan,
Are you using a faceted geometry for the simulation? Can you convert the faceted geometry into a solid, and do the simulation on that? Currently the capabilities with faceted geometry are limited in Discovery.
I am guessing the questions mentioned below are on same topic, being duplicated. We will continue the conversations here.
1. external fluid flow and and facet problem (ansys.com)
2. facet problem and fluid flow problem (ansys.com)
3. simulation and facet problem (ansys.com)

Hello Sidhaan,
There seems to be another query you have raised on the forum (1), and there I can see that you have a faceted geometry on which you are trying to do a external fluid simulation. I would suggest you first go to facets option in Discovery and convert the geometry to a solid, and then extract a external fluids volume from here.
To convert facets to solids:
To create an external fluid volume:
Let me know if you can try this on your end, and then you can define the fluid flow simulation.
You can also utilize the external fluid flow template to create the setup for you.
I would request you go through the fluid simulation courses and tutorials here:
Geometry Preparation for Fluids Simulation | Ansys Courses
Fluid Flow Simulation in Ansys Discovery | Ansys Courses
I would also request you not to create multiple posts on forum, as it will be difficult to keep track of everything for you as well as us. We will continue the discussion on this post here onwards.
