SubscriberHi. I have a device made of 2 vertical bars that move up and down. Between the 2 bards, there's wheel with a "ratchet like" mechanism which is moved by the bars but moves only in one direction. When the left bar moves up, it makes the wheel rotate to the right while the bar on the right does not affect the rotation of the wheel, and when the bars go down, the mar on the right rotates the wheel also to the right and the bar at the left doesn't affect the rotation. This way, the wheel gets the force of the upward motion AND the downward motion to rotate to the same side. I have created the bars and the wheel but I don't know how to create joints to transfer the force to the wheel as described above. How can this be accomplished in ansys mechanical? Many thanks

Ansys EmployeeIs this for transient implicit or RBD? I have a command snippet in RBD for one-way ratchet rotation.

SubscriberIt's a transient implicit simulation.
