Simulation error – port refinement, process hf3d error

I am currently trying to model a monopole antenna but keep getting the same simulation errors. I am trying to use a lumped port excitation but the setup window looks different than what I have previously used and is missing the integration line step. I am currently using the 2022 R2 student license. Any help to solve this problem would be helpful!

      Hello Herman,

If you want to assign lumped port excitation with an integration line then please change the solution type to 'Modal Network'. This can be done in either way:

HFSS (ribbon area) > Solution Type > Modal,

Right mouse click on HFSS design name > Solution Type > Modal.

Meanwhile, you can simulate a monopole antenna using the Antenna Toolkit extension also.

      Hope this helps.

      Best Regards

      Anchal
