my case is the same fluent is not able to submit the project information to the results tab. Software is saying it is not able to write some compressed data files required for results tab to work."File 'C:UsersADITHYADocumentsP7_X100_filesdp0FFFFluentFFF-1-00001.dat.gz' does not exist or is not readable" so this is happening because software is not able to write that data file required. I thought it was because of installation so i tried reinstalling more than 10 times.

Hi deepakvirkar,
I think student version does not include CFD Post, I believe it doesn't have cfx5post.exe executable under C:Program FilesANSYS IncANSYS Studentv201CFD-Postbin  . Workbench is looking for this but it's not there, so it throws that error. You might be able to launch a stand-alone CFD-Post from CFX folder (C:Program FilesANSYS IncANSYS Studentv201CFX) but it means you have to load the result manually and not from Workbench.

Hi Adithya0601,
Your issue is different , please create a new thread and post the full output in the Fluent console.

Thanks,

March 21, 2020 at 2:55 amVarun0608SubscriberCan you please suggest how to load it manually? And also, many of my friends are using student version but cfd post proc is working in their laptop.
Thanks -

Maybe, you can compare that path in the error message with your friends to see the differences.
To load results into CFD-Post, please create a thread in Fluid Dynamics section.
Thanks,
Win

Hi Deepak,
Contrary to speculation of tsiriaks, ANSYS 2020R1 does include CFD-Post.
I had the same problem for over a week and I am relieved to find it RESOLVED!
My antivirus (Quick Heal) falsely identified some files (which included CFD/CFX post) during installation as ransomware.
Disabling your antivirus and then reinstalling ANSYS might help.
Mark this as thread SOLVED if this is your issue.
