Shorting two shapes in maxwell 2D

Is there any way to electrically short two shapes in Maxwell 2D. I was trying to validate that guarding is a suitable technique to minimize stray capacitance. There are two electrodes (sensor 1 and sensor 2) and i need to find the capacitance between sensor 1 and sensor 2. There is another electrode(sensor 3) nearby which is grounded. A guard electrode is kept between sensor 1 and sensor 3 having same voltage as sensor 1. But i need to short sensor 2 and sensor 3 to show how stray capacitance affects the measured capacitance value. For that i need to electrically short sensor 2 and sensor 3. Is there any way to do this?

      Hi,

If the material of both the sensor terminals you want to short is the same. you can use the boolean operations to draw the connection and unite them to implement a short.
