I was able to reproduce this at my end. I have created a Bug ( 706427 ) for this issue ad will update you as I get more information on this.

The customer will have to make about twenty of these pieces, it is very inconvenient to make the joints one at a time, I hope that the problem will be solved in the next version.
is it possible to make an upgrade? to make sure that the joints are also created between components of equal thickness? it would be very convenient

I checked the file and it looks like you trying to create that from Sheetmetal tab and not Design tab, so it is creating a flange and not plate. 

Try creating the same from Design Tab.
