Setting periodic boundary for multiple walls

      Hi there,

I have a cubic box which represents a porous medium with pores embedded inside this cube. Apart from inlet and outlet, the other walls of the cube ideally represent a pair of periodic boundaries. In order to set this, I realized that I must define this periodic condition within Ansys meshing by matching the mesh pattern of the two pairs, using the match control command. However, the problem is that "match control" command only works for one pair of walls and for the other pair, I cannot set a matching mesh. In fact, the "match control" command works only once in the mesh tree and I cannot use it for matching multiple walls.

After this stage, when I import the structure into Fluent, only the pair of walls which have a matching mesh are successfully identified as the periodic boundaries, and the other pair cannot be set as periodic conditions, and I get an error for this, which I believe is because the mesh is not matched for these two walls. So, could anybody please help me resolve this issue? The version of my ANSYS software is 2022 R1.

Thank you for your help, in advance.

      Hello,

Can you please try in latest version of Fluent meshing? I believe you can generate more than one pair of periodic BCs in recent releases.
