SubscriberHi,
I am doing a tutorial that i saw on internet, but this tutorial provides the information in order to do the simulation in CFX. However, I want to do the simulation with Ansys and I am having some doubts.
-The tutorial sets Reference Pressure of 7703Pa in CFX, but I am not sure if this is equivalent to set 7703pa In Operating Pressure in Ansys, or if I should keep this operating pressure value at 0 and set 7703 Pa in Gauge Pressure at inlet boundary.
-The tutorial also sets material as Air Ideal Gas and buoyancy option, with a buoyancy reference density of 0.0994 in CFX. I have tried to set an specified operating density of 0.0994 in Ansys but a warning appears that says: "for compressible (ideal and real) gas models with buoyancy it is recommended to usea a specified operating density value of zero.
I would really appreciate any help, because I dont understand the way it works.

Forum ModeratorIt depends, can you provide an image of what you're doing?

SubscriberHi Rob I am doing a 2 way FSI study of a wing to analyze flutter conditions. I have created the wing geometry and the farfield and I would like to set the boundary conditions and the operating conditions the right way in Fluent. In the images you can see how the tutorial sets the conditions in CFX. It is an old tutorial that I am trying to follow to understand how it works. I have created a velocity inlet and a pressure outlet boundaries, but I have some problems with the reference pressure and the reference density in cfx as I said in the first post.
Thank you in advance!
