Hello,

I am trying to get the Von Mises stress in beam connections. For this, I am following this guide :

I have to create a UDR with the scoping method "Result file item" :

However, this option in not available in my model : 

I can only choose Geometry selection, Named selection, trajectory or Surface.

Why is that ? for information I am using Ansys 17.0

The example was created at 18.2.
It may be that in 17.0, the Scoping Method > Result File Item was not yet implemented.
It may have been a Beta option at that time. You can try to enable Beta options to see if that was the case.

Damn ! I already have Beta option activated, so no luck for me I guess.
