I have a mesh created in meters, but I need to export it in inches for stress analysis.  I see this window when I scale it - 

this is showing the correct Xmax etc.  

Butm when I export the solution data as an ASCII file I get 

how do I get the export X,Y,Z to match the scale X, Y, Z?

Hi Andrew:

The units change under mesh are for visualizing in Fluent only.  The underlying units are still SI.  To change the units of a quantity, you can go to the  User Defined Menu.  Under Field Functions, select units. In the Set Units window, find length unit on the l.h.s. and select "in" from the r.h.s. 

 

Now your mesh will export in inches as required.
