Hi all.
I'm simulating drilling into a sandstone SPG ram.Drill - MAT_PLASTIC_KINEMATIC, sandstone - MOHR_COULUMB.
The units I use are: GPa, ms, kg, mm.
I use explicit analysis and the following settings:Â
I indicated the initial temperature in Celsius 22 degrees, is this correct or should it be indicated in Kelvin?
___
I waited for two entries in the d3plot and saw that the temperature on the SPG particle plate was very high, why?
Â
Temperature graph on an SPG slab:
And how can this be fixed? Maybe you need thermal expansion cards?
