I want uniform mesh on both the specimens. One specimen is solid body and other one is sliced body. Slicing is done by 0.1mm.

Mesh element size for solid body in x and y directions is 1mm and in z direction is 0.1mm

I also want same meshing in sliced body.

Element no in solid body is 126920. Same element no I want in sliced body.

What should I do to get same element number.

Can you clear mesh on top layers, and start meshing from the body which seems to be failed? mesh them in order so you have at least one face of new body meshed before meshing the others.
