Hi, I am using the same computer, same modeling (same mesh, same boundary conditions, same contact everything same), but the stresses values are different if simulation run. Otherwise it shows some random error which previous simulation did not showed up. Also the number of nodes and elements are slightly different. I am attaching the pictures of the same and comparison. Increase in slot has nothing to do or play role in simulation, depth of the rear slot increased (as shown in pic) is for ease of plate installation
Also, when refining mesh with the global sizing and local sizing in the second simulation set up, simulation terminate with following the errors
Feedback, support and help will be appreciated
Thank you

Hey,Â
Mesh statistics always change when you have less mesh controls and are especially using when using tetra elements.
The highly distorted element error suggests that there is some element with very high load acting locally which is making it to distort beyond the acceptable element quality. This is usually due to incorrect contact or boundary conditions or when you are using hyper elastic elements. Check out this link if you are using hyper elastic elements.
Do share some material data, contact and boundary conditions info so that other forum users can also help you further.
Thanks,
Mohan
