Hi, 

I am using rigid dynamics for simulating simple model by using joint rotational velocity as my input. 

But I get some error: "Error creating joint condition. Check the syntax of the expression or the smoothness of the tabular data." 

 

Tabular Data

Steps      Time       Rotational Velocity [rpm]

1               0               0

1               1               0                                             << NO ERROR

1               2               0

1               3               3

---

Steps      Time       Rotational Velocity [rpm]

1               0               0

1               1               0                                             << ERROR !

1               2               3

1               3               3

 

What can i do for this error?

Is the Velocity Step Applied or Ramped?

Using Ramped should avoid this error.

Don't worry about why it is different, just know that changing the Initial, Minimum and Maximum Time Step parameters can help a model move from Error to No Error.
