SubscriberI placed rotating force at different locations on a shaft (Middle, ends, Between center and end). Deformation varies in all cases but stress remains the same (Value as well as location of max. stress). What could be the possible problem in this?

SubscriberI expected to see two Remote Displacements, one for each end.
I only see one Remote Displacement. How is that supporting the shaft?

SubscriberI suggest you delete that remote displacement and create a one at one end and a second remote displacement at the other end.

SubscriberTried it. Stress values are varying but how is it depending on whether there are two remote displacements or one remote displacement? because even in one RD, I am selecting both the ends.

SubscriberThe single remote point at the center of a long shaft has to generate huge moments to prevent forces developing at each end of the shaft. If the remote point behavior is deformable, those huge moments are deforming the ends of the shaft. Those huge moments and the deformations they cause introduce errors into the solution. Don't do that.
A remote point at the center of the circular edge that has to support lateral forces at that end has direct radial loads through the hidden connection elements that don't have any moment on them. A second remote point at the center of the circular edge at the other end of the shaft also has no huge moments. This type of support maintains accuracy in the solution. Do this.
