SubscriberHi
I have some fluent results opened in CFDPost. But there is no option to rotate the geometry exactly by some angle. There is the rotate icon but i cant rotate the geometry exactly by some angle using it. How to exactly rotate the geometry by some angle say 90 or 180 degrees in CFDPost?
thanks

Ansys EmployeeHi scabo,
What do you mean by rotating the geometry?
If it is just for viewing the object from a different angle, then you can use the keyboard arrows. To align it with respect to some axis, you can click on ano of then axis in the axis triads on the bottom right corner of the graphics window. After aligning it with an axis, you can then use the arrow keys to rotate it step by step. You can also use CTRL+MMB to rotate the geometry CW or CCW.
You can also manipulate the objects' orientation separately. You can go to the View tab of any User or mesh location and then specify rotation. The 'Apply Rotation' option allows you to rotate the orientation of that object with respect to any axis.
