      Hi,

I wanted to ask how can I draw the graph as like this? I have minimum and maximum and mean diameter. And i used the relation of Yd given in Ansys guide to draw a curve. But i am not able to understand how the points on graph are related in it?

Kindly tell me the solution of it, Thanks

Mass Fraction of droplets larger than certain diameter: you do not require Fluent to plot that. Actually that is what you need to input into Fluent. From that curve one can extract the mean diameter and spread coefficient.

Actually i have the mean diameter and spread parameter which is to be used in the simulation. i have diameter range from 1um to 300um. and i only know the total mass of droplets and no of droplets from ansys fluent summary.
I am unable to figure out how to use the ANYS GUIDE RELATION of yd.

I am just using the values that i know and plotting yd and diameter from it like the curve above. But I don't know how to extract or get the points (Mass Fraction of droplets larger than certain diameter).
      Kindly guide me through this.

I am not sure If I'm understanding yout point, but you can plot Yd from the expression:
What do you mean by "But I don't know how to extract or get the points (Mass Fraction of droplets larger than certain diameter)." The defintion of the above expression is straigtforward.
If you want to validate that Fluent is correctly using the RR formula, you can sample the particles that cross a floating surface or hit a wall, and plot a DPM histogram.

As an aside, you may find using 4-5 different sized injections to be better than one RR equivalent. That way you can see very quickly which particles go where rather than needing to use the Summary files to figure it out.
