SubscriberHello Everyone,
I have a question about the Rosette Gauge.Â
After I perform the analysis for Bike Crank with 3 Rosette-Strain Gauge, I inserted Normal Elastic Strain and set the Rosette strain gauges. The results are bellow here
As you can see, the Rosette-strain gauges didn't show the maximum strain developed, but show the value at Its position.
So my question is, is it the rosette strain gauge just for collect the strain on specific position?

Ansys EmployeeHi faridnugroho21,
I think you answered your question, but only on the strain value at that location is given (specific position), not peak value. This is to reproduce an actual strain gauge, which is placed at a specific location.
Regards,
SheldonÂ
