Rigid Body Dynamics Simulation of torsion bar

Hi, I'm trying to conduct a simulation on a mechanical system with a single flexible part. I have tried simplifying it (Geometry and system) as much as possible but I am having issue with achieving the desired motion.

Basically I'm loading parts on 2 sides of a bar and want it to deform the bar to a certain point.

I have tried both remote displacement and remote force load neither work. I also can't use fixed as condensed geometry doesn't let me apply loads. Those 2 cuts on the bar are cylindrical supports and the rest of the parts are meant to be fixed relative to eachother.

      For the full system attempt

A remote force load is applied on both free mounting points with 1 dampers (no spring rate just damping) and 1 spring/damper:

Fixed joints were used for all parts that are bolted/fixed together.

A spherical joints was used for the rod ends

and cylindrical body-ground for the mounting points

This resulted in equivalent stress being insanely low and playthrough shows the parts connected to the part not moving at all.

Are fixed joints the way to go here? My impression is that they are for fixing things relative to each other but in the sims it seemed to be fixing the condensed geometry in space.

For the torsion bar only, you say you have "tried both remote displacement and remote force load neither work".  In what way does it not work?

Upload a Workbench Project Archive .wbpz (NOT .wbpj) file by using the File, Archive menu to a file sharing site such as Google Drive, OneDrive or Jumpshare and paste the link in your reply. I will have a look at both the full system as well as the torsion bar only.  When you reply, also say what version of Ansys you are using.

In the sentence after that one I explain it: when you use fixed to attach the parts together (since I want them to move relative to eachother) the condensed geometry includes all the connected pieces and you can't apply the loads to condensed geometry. I'll grab the project zip soon.
