Ansys EmployeeHi,
It seems you have a snap fit problem; you can try either using frictional or frictionless contact.

Ansys EmployeeHello,
It seems your Snapfit retention angle is 90 degrees, which means the snapfit becomes permanent and won't come out.

SubscriberYes because the goal is to measure the strength of the latch and rentention part. But both parts won't separate.

SubscriberWas this geometry imported into SpaceClaim where the Share button was used? That can cause the mesher to connect the parts so that they won't separate.
Were any Bonded Contacts automatically created when the geometry was brought into Mechanical? That can cause the parts to not separate. Check what is in the Connections folder and delete any automatically created contacts.
