      Can anyone help me in calculating the response time in FDTD, I'm not able able to figure out.

      do you mean it is similar to a photodetector's " response time "? optics to optics response usually is much faster than optics-electronics. I do not see people seeking such parameter from FDTD, or more generally from Maxwell's Equations.

      If you mean differently, please elaborate more.
