Good Evening, I would like to inquire how do I do a renewal of the license for ANSYS ELECTRONIC DESKTOP STUDENT 2021 R2.

When I downloaded this software, the webpage mentions it's expiry date is until 07/23/2022. But, now I cannot access the software because it expired on 31st March 2022.

CAN SOMEONE PLEASE HELP! I HAVE A PROJECT DUE ON 8 APRIL 2022.

Below is the error that popped out when I tried to to open the software:

Failover feature 'Ansys electronics_desktop' is not available.

Request name electronics_desktop does not exist in the licensing pool.

Hi all,
I have looked at this previous thread and have done the the following steps using this thread:

I downloaded the Ansys Student 2021 R2 from prior release and used the following methods from the thread above. But instead of transferring "student.lic" file, I transferred the ".acldata" file and it worked!.
Just wanted to check if this method is correct? And will the license be valid until 07/23/2022 as said on the webpage.?
Or will this license file be valid only for 1 month? And I have to do this step every month?
Because I do intend to use Ansys Electronics Desktop Student Software till end of May 2022.

It seems that we have an issue with the product license. We are looking into this. I will come back with an update.

I also have a problem... Tried to uninstall Ansys Electronics and download a new version from website. It shows that the license is expired (31.03.2022). It looks like the new one is not built into the program file. Help :(
