SubscriberHi
Is it possible to create a reinforced concrete model using the SOLID65 element for the concrete and the embedded reinforcement (automatic) model type for reinforcement?
My aim is to investigate both plastic behavior and cracking / crushing :)
Best regards
Oliver

Ansys EmployeeHi
Â
That will not work (using soild65) - see reinf264/265 for the allowed base elements (e.g., solid185/186, etc but not of course solid65).

All the best
