Hai,

I am writing to seek your assitance ragrding ansys mechanical analysis. I have to find out yield stress and buckling stress on a ship. I have modelled the ship and stiffeners in ansys design modeller. I have to apply hydrodynamic pressure acting on the ship and distribute the mass through the ship.I have done all the analysis but now the components are separating apart after the analysis.

 

I have given remote displacement as boundary conditions. I couldn't find out whether the issue is regarding the boundary conditions or the force applied. Kindly help me to fix the problem.

Hai,

While I am providing hydrodynamic pressure there is an error coming as" an unkown error occured" and solution get aborted. I have provided the distributed mass and hydrodynamic pressure. I have to find out the hydrodynamic pressure for a wave of 4m amplitude. But i couldn't get the solution. If I reduce the wave height and frequency then it get solved. Is there any probelm with the distributed mass or hydrodynamic pressure?
