Hello
This time, the 2022R1 version was uploaded to the Customer Portal and installation proceeded.
Then, when viewing the mesh shape in the Refine stage (Fluid / Mechanical), the following image is causing the problem.
I'm currently having the same issue with my RTX2060 SUPER / RTX 3070 Laptop GPU.
thank you. -

Hello smjang
Both RTX 2060 Super and RTX 3070 are GeForce Cards. Discovery may work on GeForce cards, but not officially supported since there is no testing done for the same. And since they have ampere architecture, that could be the reason why there is an issue. I think you were facing a similar issue in the previous version, I will discuss with the product team to see if they can provide more insight into which GeForce cards are supported.Â
Regards.

Charudatta Bandgar Two months ago, the same problem occurred in the previous version and we inquired about this problem. At that time, it occurred on the RTX 3070 Laptop GPU and I inquired, but I am not sure if the same problem occurred in the previous version on the RTX2060 SUPER. Anyway, I hope this issue gets resolved soon. thank you.

Hello smjang
In a similar issue highlighted by other customer, they had noticed that the issue is nVIDIA graphics driver issue. 511.09 (also 511.23) has a problem. Try using 472.84 driver instead. Developers think there is a problem with the OpenCL driver installation on that machine which is causing this issue. I would suggest disabling any INTEL GPU in the bios to test this theory, but also try reinstalling the NVidia driver with INTEL disabled, please use the custom install option enabling "clean install".
Â
While I collect more information on this, I have filed a bug ticket 577599 to get further more information.Â

Charudatta BandgarÂ
Thank you.
Reinstalling the driver with a lower version as answered, solved the problem for both RTX3070 LAPTOP / RTX2060 SUPER. It seems that the previous floating-side problem has also been resolved. (Intel driver reinstallation without turning off)However, a warning message like the image below appears.
And may I know when this problem will be resolved??
I wonder when the latest version of the graphics driver will be available. -

smjang Hello
Thanks for the update.
I think ideally having a latest graphic card driver is the best thing for Discovery, which is why it is giving this default warning. I think this is a graphic card driver issue, and not from the discovery side, which was seen earlier as well with 45x.x series, and we had made the information widely available till NVIDIA resolves it on their end, and a new version is available, I would say the workaround for now should be enough.Â
Regards.

Hello smjang
Please try to install R47* graphics driver. It seems R5** driver causes this issue. You can download old version driver from : https://www.nvidia.com/Download/Find.aspx?lang=en-us

Ichiro Thank you for answer. A few weeks ago I installed the R47* version of the driver and it fixed the problem. Thanks for letting me know the answer.Â
