Reference temperature for thermal expansion coefficient differs…

Added new material and run static structural with fixed support and rotational force. Got this error and Unable to converge. Change to structural steel then able to complete with result.
      How to correct this matter?

      Hi,

The convergence issue can be due to various issue, not limited to this warning.

The zero thermal-strain reference temperature in Engineering Data will be the reference temperature. This may differ from the other two temperature reference input in the tree outline and for each body parts.

ANSYS modifies your other reference temperatures with respect to the zero thermal-strain reference temperature in Engineering Data and modifies the SCTE curve accordingly corresponding to that material (or the global the reference temperature). This is done by using the MPAMOD command internally.

You can check after giving the reference temperature in body same as in the engineering Data.

      I hope this helps!

      Thank you.
