SubscriberHello,
I'm trying to simulate the flow of water through cooling nozzles of a milling tool. I do that through a constructed model geometry. It represents the inner tubes with the boxes as encasings at each nozzle ending.
I cant enter the Fluent Simulation Setup due to an error that occures in terms of reaching the maximum mesh element amount for the student software. I'm very new to simulation in general and have no experiences in case of how to reduce the amount of elements and to do that in a way that doesnt effect my results.
I am happy for any help!

Forum ModeratorYou may be able to reduce the size of the domain, and that'll use less cells. Otherwise you need to use a coarser mesh which may effect the accuracy.Â
Another option is to use the University Research licences if you can get access: they don't have a cell count limit.Â

SubscriberIs it possible to reduce the mesh quality at a certain edge? Sadly i cant upload screenshots to show it properly. I think i dont need a fine mesh at the edge of the nozzle to the box-encasings.
