Hello,

How come I do not see a record button in the ACT Console?(in Transient Structural or Rigid Dynamics, for example)

Below is a screenshot from ANSYS Rigid Dynamics. According to the documentation I have seen, there should be a record button here.

The Record tab in Mechanical is avaialble under Automation > Mechanical > Scripting after the version 2021R1. Which versionare you using? Could you please share the documentation chapter you are referring to?

I am using ANSYS 2020R1, so I am assuming the record button is not included in this version.

Hello Helen,

That's correct it is not included in your version! This feature is added on 2021R1.
