Hi,
I'm working on the analysis of a rebar cage. The connections have been modelled as Bushing joints to allow the experimental translational and rotational stiffness values to be defined. Contacts have been suppressed and I've performed a deformation analysis. As shown below, the vertical reinforcements pass through the stirrups. How could I prevent this?Â

Can you try adding edge-to-edge contact with CONTA177 elements?
