SubscriberHello all, I'm trying to compute drag and lift coefficient values for rotating elliptic cylinder. I have used a sliding mesh. The domain is divided into 2 parts - stationary & rotating. The diameter of rotating domain is 1.05L (L=dia. of ellipse).nI'm validating from a previous literature. The drag value is in excellent agreement but lift values are coming less than expected. I cannot understand why this is happening. Any insights would be extremely helpful.nThank you.n -

Ansys EmployeeFirst check if you are using the right reference values and direction of the forces you want the dot product to be applied with. Other hints can follow after this first check.nnCan you add some model settings and screenshot of the mesh near the wall of interest?n
