SubscriberHello,
I am a newbie in Ansys. I am learning Ansys from (https://confluence.cornell.edu/display/SIMULATION/ANSYS+-+Truss+Step+2). In this tutorial, at the stage named "Specify element constant", I followed the steps but a note shown. I have attached screenshot of my steps. Why a note shown "Real constants for the LINK180 element type are no longer supported"? Please help me. [I am using Ansys Student Version 2019 R3]

Ansys EmployeeHi,nThis tutorial must be old. Now you dont have to use real constants. You should use section definition to defined the information or SECTYPE and SECDATA commands.nAugust 5, 2020 at 8:47 amalpha_boy
