      Hello,

I am a newbie in Ansys. I am learning Ansys from (https://confluence.cornell.edu/display/SIMULATION/ANSYS+-+Truss+Step+2). In this tutorial, at the stage named "Specify element constant", I followed the steps but a note shown. I have attached screenshot of my steps. Why a note shown "Real constants for the LINK180 element type are no longer supported"? Please help me. [I am using Ansys Student Version 2019 R3]

Hi,nThis tutorial must be old. Now you dont have to use real constants. You should use section definition to defined the information or SECTYPE and SECDATA commands.n
