I agree that the results don’t appear to be correct. Here are a few debugging steps that might help:
- Verify if you obtain the same results when using the built-in monitor visualizer within the Lumerical IDE.
- Ensure your simulation setup aligns with the recommendations in the RCWA Product Reference Manual.
- Begin by testing simpler structures with well-understood behavior, such as a planar interface or basic gratings. Check if you can reproduce results from RCWA solver application examples, like the Photonic Crystal Slab (RCWA) or Surface Relief Grating for Augmented Reality System.
