I'm using the RCWA solver. I'm working on an application where I need to study the transmission under different angles of incidence. For now I'm doing some tests just using a simple surface (1.0 index). When I apply a theta angle I can't see the tilt of the field on the monitor. Am I missing something ? Thank you.

tested, confirmed. it seems it only counts the phase in one direction. We will investigate more.

Thank you for your answer. But do the other results (grating characterization for example) really take into account the angle of incidence ?

It should. you can compare the RCWA result with stackrt.
