SubscriberGood afternoon,
Sometimes when we set a simulation running in ANSYS Fluent on an HPC cluster, using a batch script and journal file, the .err file will output, many times: "sched_setaffinity() call failed: Invalid argument". Do you know what this means and what needs to be done to stop it? Does it affect our simulation in any way?
Thank you,

Ansys EmployeeHello,
Does the simulation run? There could be an error in the batch script.

SubscriberYes, the simulation runs. We checked the batch script and we did not see any error. There are times when this message is not displayed when we run the same batch script. We are wondering why this happens and whether this would affect our simulations.
Thank you Research Group Discovery
