Question about the flexible material plugin framework for Lumerical

  I was curious if ANSYS Optics Launcher (AOL) 2024 includes better support for the Custom Material Plugin Framework than AOL 2023. I have a functional DLL that I attempted to place in the Lumerical bin/plugins/materials, but Lumerical does not recognize it. Other forum questions suggest MSVC 2010-2013 is needed, but this is difficult to accomplish in Windows 11. Any tips on helping Lumerical read the DLL?

  If it worked in previous version and fails in the new version, it might be a bug. Let me discuss this with team.
