August 30, 2024 at 7:29 amJooJaehoonSubscriberHello!I'm conducting static analysis on plateI inflict 5.88 MPA clamping pressure using other plate indirectlyI got equivalent stress distribution and I attached a picture, but, I have doubt about this result because of it's randomness.Should I use this result? or, how can I decrease randomness of result?Thank you.

One way to smooth the contact pressure distribution is to change the default normal stiffness.
Change Normal Stiffness to Factor and use a value of 0.1 or 0.01 instead of the default value of 1.0 and change Update Stiffness to Every Iteration.
Another thing you can do is use a finer mesh in the contact region. This is easily done using a Contact Mesh Sizing control.

Hello ! Peter !
Thank you for applying to my qustion.
I'll try to modify stiffness term and check a result
have a good day.
