SubscriberDear Lumerical Community,ÂI'm simulating the modulation of metaatoms and using the official example "Small-Scale Metalens – Field Propagation" (https://optics.ansys.com/hc/en-us/articles/360042097313-Small-Scale-Metalens-Field-Propagation). I noticed that when calculating the phase, we use "pinch(angle(S.S21_Gn))". However, when calculating the transmission, we use "pinch(T.T_Gn)" rather than "pinch(abs(S.S21_Gn))^2".ÂI did some tests and found that the transmission results sometimes differ significantly. Does anyone know if there might be an error in my understanding, or is it a numerical error? Which method is more reliable?ÂThanks! -
