SubscriberIs this Project Schematic correct for a Lattice Optimization (including homogenization)?
Why also do we have only 7 lattice-choices at the lattice topology optimization and more at Spaceclaim? Do we need to use the same lattice type both at topology optimization and at Spaceclaim? If yes which procedure can we use to assign the other lattices?

Ansys EmployeeLattice optimization in mechanical is providing you variable lattice densities based on topology optimization for various structures. This is not very simple to implement nor is it necessary for all lattice structures. Having said that there are already quite a few optimization lattice structures as you show above and development might even choose to add more in the future.
Here is one good paper that gives you an understanding of the method and its complexities.
Cheng, L., Zhang, P., Biyikli, E., Bai, J., Robbins, J., & To, A. (2017). Efficient design optimization of variable-density cellular structures for additive manufacturing: theory and experimental validation. Rapid Prototyping Journal, 23(4), 660-677.
By default, SpaceClaim will select the lattice structure you used to optimize the structure in Mechanical when you select density attributes. You shouldn't be using any other lattice structure other than the optimized lattice but we don't prevent that. It is up to the users engineering judgment.

SubscriberThank you again for your answer and your paper! That is one of my favorite papers that i have read about lattice optimization and the procedure that i want to make.
As i have understood for my previous post also the lattice optimization feature in ANSYS makes automatically the homogenization of the material properties but for the validation study i have to introduce the Material Designer for the homogenization. That is the procedure that i showed on the figure above. Is that correct?

SubscriberHello. i am performing the Lattice Optimization in Ansys Version 2019 R3Â by following the procedure in below link.Â
https://www.padtinc.com/blog/how-to-use-lattice-optimization-in-ansys-mechanical-and-ansys-spaceclaim-19-2/
But after doing the lattice optimization in Space claim when i validate the lattice geometry in Static structural ... i can not mesh the model. i have tried the various mesh techniques but the model is not meshing.

SubscriberHelloÂ
is it possible to use lattice optimization for non linear plastic model ?
I have been trying to do so but I just get errors
