SubscriberIn my master's thesis, I am using your Fluent software to analyze the wall roughness of a flat and a sine-shaped plate. I am trying to create these using Matlab or Excel and then import them into Designmodeler as geometry.
For example, I want to create a geometry from a series of points using Concept-> 3D Curve. However, as soon as I try to import a txt or cvs file, I get an error message with a yellow exclamation mark.
If I try to read in my geometry via points, no points are recognized.
However, if I insert a given Naca file, which represents a wing profile, the insertion works without any problems.I don't understand how my created file and the given file can look exactly the same in format and one file can be read in and the other not.
Because I use the German Deisginmodeler the point have to have comma

Forum ModeratorCheck the file for white space characters, but also the header part sets open/closed curves. Depending on what's in the file it may cause the problem. The other issue could be the line dimensions: how close together are the points?Â
