I tried to simulate the thermal transportation in a photodiode. And AlN or diamond is attached to Au tried to get better thermal transport. I only set T=300K as the boundary condition at the bottom of simulation region. But after the simulation, I found T profile shows no difference w AlN and wo AlN. Is there anythinig or boundary condition I forgot to set? Thanks for your guys help.

It can be due to different reasons.
What is the AIN and are its thermal parameters correct?
It seems the T=300k boundary is too close to the source, which drains the heat to room temperature. Why do you simulate larger AIN space but not the substrate T=300k?
