Problem with varying force measure

I am currently setting up a Rigid Body Dynamics simulation of an engine in Ansys Mechanical. My model is fully built and functioning, but I am struggling with an specific force definition.

My Goal: I want to apply a force to the pistons. This force must be dynamically dependent on the current, crankshaft angle. (So not on time)

What I tried: I tried to set up an varying force depending on measure and created a remote point on one of the pistons. For the measurement I added an Measure at the revolute joint of my crankshaft and set the variable to rotation, as you can see below.

The Problem: I cant select my measure "crankshaft" for the Varying Force. Only time is available. When I use varying joint load, I can select the measure, but then I only can select my translational joint of the piston and i think for that, only displacement values are valid.

Question: Can someone help me to set that up correctly? Is it maybe better to do it in Motion?
