Problem with “make independant”

      Hello, 

      I have a client who has a problem with the "make independent" function. Since the 2021 R version, they are unable to make a component independent. They have to turn spaceclaim off and on again to make it work!
      Have you already had a feedback on this problem? And maybe, do you know where it can come from? bug?!

      We have not come across such an issue before, does this happen with any component or specific to a component? Also how frequent is this? Does it go back to normal once they close and reopen SC? If this is a general occurance with any generic file, will you be able to get the log files? If it is not can you send the file for which they get the said issue, and if I can replicate it on my end, I will file a bug to understand better. In the meantime let me discuss with the team, if this has been observed before.

      Hello,

      I just spoke with the customer, the problem is not specific to a PC or a project because it has already happened on several PCs and on several projects. Before installing the 2021 R2, he was still in 2020 R2 and there was no such problem in this version.
      Apparently there is no error message when this happens but Spaceclaim does not make the item independent.
      When the client turns the PC off and on, it works.
      Since it is a one-time thing and not file-specific, it is not possible to send you anything.
      The client will send me the log file when the problem returns!
      Can you give me the path to the log file again?

      Hello You will find in attachment the log files communicated by the customer. Can you analyze them?

      I have filed a bug ticket (530330) to understand it better and have forwarded the logfiles for the developers to see, NOVACAD

      I will let you know as I get more information.
