SubscriberHi everyone,
Â
I've recently taken Ansys (student version), and I'm trying to simulate a submarine in water, in order to obtain the added mass matrix (to compare with the theoretical part). For the moment, the geometry remains simple:
However, after creating the mesh, when I try to access the 'Setup' tab, I get an error message telling me that it can't read the file :
" Error : File « … » not found ! "
Also, on the Workbench, I have another error message which is as follows :
Does anyone know the solution to this problem please ?
On the Fluent Launcher, I noticed that I couldn't select the "Working Directory" file. Is this normal ?Â
Thank you in advance for any help !

Forum ModeratorHello,
It could be that, the "Working Directory" option may be disabled. You can confirm the working directory in Fluent by entering 'pwd' into the Fluent console. Moreover if you encounter the Ansys.Fluent.Cortex.CortexNotAvailableException error, it suggests that Fluent is unable to start when attempting to open the project. In such cases, it might be helpful to try reading the case in Fluent outside of the Workbench or exporting the mesh and setting the case from scratch.Â
Hope this helps. Thanks!
