Dear Discovery Team,
One of our customer has a problem with running Discovery 2020R2.
Operating system: Windows 10 (fresh instalation) + instaled all newest drivers
When he try to start Discovery (Discovery AIM) nothing happend or had error like below
I checked log files and obtained following infformation
SpaceClaim.Facade.SpaceClaimView.Start(IUnityContainer container, StartOptions options, IEnumerable`1 featureFlags, StartDelegate startDelegate)
Cause:
Id: System.Runtime.Serialization.SerializationException
Title: SerializationException
Severity: Error
Message: Wystąpił błąd podczas deserializacji obiektu typu Microsoft.Identity.Client.Internal.OAuth2.TokenResponse. Have you already encountered such a problem and can give me tips on how to solve such a problem

We will have to check license details of the customer to understand this better, please can you share the customer email address and customer number to ansys-discovery-support@ansys.com?

Hello WojtekD
I can see that their Ansys Discovery Ultimate license is not active on any device yet, please try activating the license via command lines options shown below:
Discovery Subscription license - Command line options - Knowledge Base - Ansys Discovery Forum
Also, there tecs has expired on: 2021-03-23, so they should only be able to use versions released before this date.

Customer activated license on this device, screen sended to You via email was old and its purpose was only to show You customer creditentials.
Also version of the software (2020R2) is older that date of TECS expiration date
Customer used this software on different computer and everything worked fine problem occured after fresh Windows instalation

Please can you ask them to try launching Discovery using Admin rights and see if that helps?
If the problem persists, type %temp% in Windows Search and locate .ansys folder. Zip this folder and send it to Discovery Support Team
Also, send following log files located at ~
/Ansys Inc Install.log
Install_licconfig.log
Install.err (if it exists)
