Subscriberhi, I'm simulating the cooling of a battery pack by setting the internal heat generation w/m^3, the temperature I get inside the simulation is much higher than the one I get in reality.
now the heat has been calculated through the following formula R*I^2, this value is correct because from the experiments I obtained the same value in watts.
practical example:
discharge current=15.75 ampere
internal resistance=0.022
I get 5.45 watts
while through experiments I get 5.72 W
I don't understand where is the problem in the simulation. thanks in advance for the reply. -

Ansys EmployeeIf your battery model inputs are correct, then you need to check the material properties and boundary conditions, the thermal conditions in particular.Â
