SubscriberHi,
I am meshing my geometry using the fluent meshing tool. When importing the CAD file, fluent generating the zones, and regions by itself. How can I prevent it?
When generating the surface mesh, I am getting an error "Error at Node 0: tg-delete-duplicate-faces: wta[1](zone) [421]". What could be the reason for getting this error? See the attached image. Please note that in the workbench, geometry is meshing without any problem.Â

Ansys EmployeeThis is very common error.Â
Sometimes it happens due to error in the geometry. Please check geometry in SpaceClaim.Â
Select geometry in structure tree --> Use right click --> Select Check Geometry. (Or Tools - Fault Detection in DM)
The geometry should be error free to proceed.Â
If geometry has any errors, please modify/recreate geometry at those places.ÂIf geometry is error free then please check if you have multibody component in SpaceClaim. If it is multibody component then you will need to use Workbench → Share option before going to Fluent Meshing.Â
Please go through help manual for more detailsÂ
Please check following videos
SpaceClaim Share topology:

SubscriberThe geometry is error-free. Also, share topology is applied among the multibody components.

Ansys EmployeePlease check visually in Spaceclaim if share topology is successful or not. The error in Fluent Meshing indicates that share topology is not successful in SpaceClaim.Â
Please go through help manual for more detailsÂ
